Daniel Island schools are part of the Berkeley County school system and are among the highest rated in all of South Carolina. The three schools on the island are The Daniel Island School (public elementary/middle school), Bishop England High School (private high school), and Daniel Island Academy (private pre-school for ages 1 to 4. High school students attending public schools are zoned to study at Hanahan High School in nearby Hanahan.

The central location of Daniel Island means you're close to most of the top sights and attractions in the entire Charleston area as well. Downtown Charleston, Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island, and Charleston International Airport are all within 15 miles and are easily accessible via Interstate 526.
